Service Delivery
and Fulfilment
This Policy governs how Engagements are scoped, managed, delivered, and overseen on the AML Guild platform.
This Policy governs how Engagements are scoped, managed, delivered, and overseen on the AML Guild platform. It applies to all Engagement types and forms part of the AML Guild policy suite, to be read alongside the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund and Cancellation Policy.
AML Guild's role is not passive. While Experts deliver advisory services in their independent professional capacity, AML Guild maintains quality standards, oversees delivery milestones, and provides the structured framework within which Engagements are conducted.
Expert Vetting and Approval
All Experts listed on the Platform have undergone AML Guild's vetting process prior to approval, which includes:
- Verification of professional qualifications and certifications, including CAMS, ICA, ACAMS, CFE, and equivalent credentials
- Assessment of jurisdictional expertise, sector experience, and depth of AML/CFT/CPF knowledge
- Review of professional history, including prior roles as MLROs, compliance officers, or regulatory advisers
- Sanctions screening and adverse media checks
- Professional reference checks where appropriate
AML Guild reserves the right to remove any Expert from the Platform at any time where their conduct, credentials, or performance falls below the required standard.
Personal data collected during Expert vetting is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Engagement Scoping
Prior to commencement, the Client and Expert are required to agree on a clear Engagement Agreement setting out:
- The nature of the compliance matter or assignment
- The applicable jurisdiction and regulatory framework
- The type of Engagement and fee structure
- Specific deliverables, where applicable
- Timelines and key milestones, where applicable
- Communication protocols and designated points of contact
AML Guild provides a structured scoping framework to assist both parties in documenting these elements before work begins.
The quality and relevance of Expert advice are directly dependent on the completeness and accuracy of the information provided by the Client during scoping. Clients who provide incomplete or inaccurate context do so at their own risk.
Delivery Standards
All Experts are required to deliver Engagements in accordance with the following standards:
- Reasonable professional skill and care, consistent with their stated qualifications and experience
- Adherence to the agreed scope and deliverables in the Engagement Agreement
- Timely communication with the Client and AML Guild where milestones are at risk
- Compliance with applicable professional standards and ethical obligations
- Full disclosure of any conflict of interest that arises during an Engagement
AML Guild's Oversight Role
AML Guild actively monitors Engagements at key points to ensure delivery standards are maintained.
4.1 Milestone Check-Ins
For fixed-fee, variable, and assignment-based Engagements, AML Guild conducts structured check-ins at agreed milestones to confirm that work is progressing in accordance with the Engagement Agreement.
4.2 Completion Confirmation
Upon completion, both parties confirm delivery through the Platform. This triggers final invoicing and closes the Engagement record. Where a Client disputes that agreed deliverables have been met, they must raise this within 5 business days of the Expert indicating completion.
4.3 Quality Feedback
Following completion, both Clients and Experts are invited to provide structured feedback. This informs AML Guild's ongoing Expert quality review and may affect an Expert's standing on the Platform.
4.4 Escalation
Where a concern about an Engagement is raised, AML Guild will review the matter and may intervene to facilitate resolution. AML Guild's role in any escalation is that of a facilitator, not an adjudicator.
Formal disputes are resolved under Clause 11 of the Terms of Service.
Delivery by Engagement Type
5.1 Hourly Engagements
Sessions are conducted at mutually agreed-upon times and logged through the Platform. Where a session is missed by the Client without prior notice, the Expert's time is considered consumed, and the session is forfeited.
Refund position: see the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5.2 Fixed-Fee Engagements
Delivery is assessed against agreed deliverables. Where an Expert has completed and submitted the agreed deliverables to specification, the Fee becomes payable regardless of the Client's subsequent satisfaction with the outcome.
5.3 Variable Time and Effort Engagements
Progress is reported against agreed parameters. No additional work beyond agreed caps will be undertaken without the Client's written approval.
5.4 Assignment-Based Engagements
Delivery is phased across defined milestones. AML Guild conducts milestone reviews at each phase. Payment triggers are linked to milestone completion as set out in the Engagement Agreement.
Client Obligations
Delivery quality is a shared responsibility. Clients agree to:
- Provide timely, accurate, and complete information as requested by the Expert
- Make themselves or their designated representatives available for scheduled sessions and communications
- Review and respond to Expert queries or draft deliverables within agreed timeframes
- Notify AML Guild promptly where they believe an Engagement is not progressing as agreed
Where delays in delivery arise from a Client's failure to meet these obligations, AML Guild and the Expert shall not be held responsible for any resulting impact on timelines or outputs.
Limitations on Scope of Advice
Expert advice provided through AML Guild is professional compliance advisory guidance. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for formal legal counsel where such counsel is required.
Experts do not represent any regulatory authority and cannot guarantee any particular regulatory outcome. Clients remain solely responsible for decisions made in reliance on Expert advice and for the overall adequacy of their compliance programmes.
AML Guild's liability position is set out in Clause 9 of the Terms of Service.
Data Handling During Delivery
All personal data and Confidential Information shared during an Engagement is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the confidentiality obligations in Clause 6 of the Terms of Service. Experts are required to handle all Client data with appropriate care and to delete or return it upon completion unless a longer retention period is required by law or agreed in writing.
Data collection, use, and retention are governed by the Privacy Policy.
